Sunday, Sunday, Sunday

Winnie and I walked to work yesterday. It was an uneventful & slow walk. I am wondering if she has entered a "fear period". Things seem to worry her that weren't a worry last week. One example was the hige cardboard box that was sitting in the dining room. She saw it and stepped back...it tooker her 30 seconds or so to approach/investigate. After she checked it out all was well. Igot her to practice walking on flat cardboard as yet another surface which was cool. There wasn't too much activity on our walk but she did take notice of the people and dogs. She had to stop walking a few times and observe. A block away from work there was a lady pulling a noisy cart full of bottles and she was quite startled by that. We encountered 2 different sidewalk grates and did a little work on both - she was hesitant so need more work there too.

I played her with Clipper (who really should be called Prince Charming). Helen decided not to adopt him which is a bummer but I can see her reason - 3 dogs is A LOT!. Apparently he is perfect (he sure seems to be).

W stayed in Holly's office all day up off of the adoption desk. She was a bit fussy on & off but did well. She did pee 4x.

• 1x submissive pee when she saw Akinshe (he weighs about 120 and looks like an Akita/Bloodhound)
• 1x by the door - she has been crying but I thought that she was just complaining
• 1x on her pad (which I provided after the 1st real pee)
• 1x just at the end of the day - again she had been fussing which she had been doing intermittently. She took out some frustration on the pad which was interesting.

I took her to MPR to play on breaks & lunch. She played with Clipper for about 20 minutes at lunch - they are SO darling together! We played fetch today with 1 of the squeaky balls that Melody gave Winnie at her puppy shower. She has a great retrieve.

We got a ride home after work. I fed the dogs, pottied them and then Tim and I left to go to a poker diner. I cam home about 3 hours later and W had waited to pee outside! Yippee!!

We went to bed at about 11pm and W work me up at 6:23!. I got her up a few minutes later and she had waited all that time to go to the bathroom! I love to sleep!!!! Thanks Winnie!!

This morning we worked on our table stacking - we both need a lot more practice!
