Winnie was pretty good - a bit nervous/fussy. She is used to being with other dogs at work but she did well. She met lots of people. I took her up to Peets when I walked up to get a morning coffee. NO one wanted to talk to her - boggles my mind. Jennifer dropped Dolce off at work at 2pm - Winnie seemed more relaxed when he was there even though they were contained in separate but neighboring x-pens. She peed a zillion times - only 1 off of the pad. She ate a good lunch and helped me weed out people from the volunteer yahoo group.
Helen told me today that we have a dog at work that broke with distemper and one that is awaiting a more definitive diagnosis. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
Deirdre came with me to puppy play group today. Winnie was much more confident today. She played with a Chix named Spud and her buddy Gus (Spud's brother). Spud and Winnie played/wrestled inside Spud's sherpa. She got trounced about 2x but I was much more willing to jump in and do what I thought needed to be done. She also sniffed the Shiba (Uni) and the Portie (Tella?). The SCWT was too much for Winnie. She did some play behavior (bouncing, play paw, elbow bending) but also some "defensive" things such as snapping, some barking/growling. All in all I was delighted . Thanks D for providing moral support!!!!
Winnie and her buddy Spud in the Sherpa and Murphy outsideWhen we got home Winnie peed immediately when I set her down in the yard. She pooped in class. We came up stairs and played fetch and she chewed on a bone for a while.
She ate her dinner and crashed for a nap.
