- she is so beautiful
- she is so pretty
- she is such a nice dog
- if she grows up "messed up" it will be our fault
- your research paid off (referring to my countless hours over the past 2 years on the internet looking at poodles, breeders, pedigrees, health tests, etc)
- it is nice that her bladder is getting stronger
- she is settling much better now (and he complimented me on "sticking to my guns" with the confinement
She and Tim wrestled for a while last night. They roll around on the floor together and she bites various parts of him (ears, chin, fingers etc) and he giggles. You really woudl have to see it to believe it. Then they hung out in the dining room while I fixed dinner. Winnie likes to sit on the dog bed and play with her toys and chew on stinky bones. It was obvious to me that Tim liked her when seh laid on the floor 2' from his feet chewing on a tripe chew and he only commented on the horrid smell!!
Winne had her first bath since coming home. We started off well (she was relaxed and eating treats) but quickly progressed to a soaking wet (slippery) puppy trying to leap off of the counter.
We survived and I rushed out outside to pee which she did then zoomed around the yard. Dolce has the same reaction. I toweled her off and Tim helped me to blow dry her. She looked 2x as big after I brushed her out/dried her off.
I am pretty sure I saw her get bigger!
We hung out for a while with poodles sleeping on their dog beds then we headed off to bed. Winnie settled within 15 seconds and was fast asleep.
