Pretty is as pretty does.....

Oh my, what a night!

Winnie "slept" in her big girl crate last night.

The crate is in my room, under the window but protected from draft by a dark blanket on the sides, back and top. I didn't cover the front so that she could see out. We went out to potty just before bed and then I put her into her crate. She had her bumper bed crate pad that she uses in her pen, her giant tendon (she likes the 12" one better than the 6") and the newly washed sunflower stuffy toy.

Sounds good right? Well I neglected to get approval from the puppy. We got up a few times.

I like to sleep. I hate having my sleep interrupted. I am tired. She is lucky she is so cute!

She has previously been sleeping in her Sherpa. I put her to bed in the Sherpa which was in the same location as her crate but after our early morning potty I had been bringing the Sherpa onto the bed near my head because I really wanted to go back to sleep! I knew that not bringing her up onto the bed was likely going to cause some fussing....as usual I was right ;-)

Oh, I have to add that she wasn't sick on any of those outings. She did pee each time and then wanted to play. I put her back into her big girl crate each time and went back to bed. I probably "should" have let her fuss for a while at one of those early morning times, especially since she had recently been out, but poor Tim was trying to sleep after getting home from work at 2AM.

Oh the pressure!
