Oh what a day.

So I left this morning at 8am and left Winnie in her pen. She was complaining. I got a call from Tim several hours later saying that she had been crying since I left and that she woke him up. = (
I picked the dogs up at noon and brought them into work. I set Winnie up in Norma's office. Winnie did very well - she played and napped and harassed Widget.

Norma left at 4:30 so Winnie spent about 30 minutes in her Sherpa on my desk before I was ready to go.

Tonight was our first puppy play session and it was not fun for either of us. Winnie was was nervous and first and progressed to terrified. There was a SCWT puppy who was waaaaay too rambunctious and he scared Winnie right off the bat. She spent most of the evening on my lap or hiding underneath me. She was very defensive (growling and snapping) if a dog was too interested in her. She did some sniffing of one of the other shy dogs.

It was very stressful for both of us and I am very concerned about how to help her improve and build confidence.
