When she is "empty" I let her run around the house a bit. For a while she laid in the dining room rug and chewed on a green tripe chew.
She had peed in the house 2x so far..... one as she was running to the back door and I was running behind trying to help her get outside and one while hanging in her pen. She has peed outside at least 4x today.
I cut Dolce's nails today and then cut Winnie's nails. She was perfect. I laid her on her back on the big dog pillow and cut each nail just a tiny bit. After each nail clip I gave her a little piece of venison jerky. No fussing - no problems!! I was thrilled.
Dolce tried very hard to play with her in the yard this morning. When he bounds towards her and barks he terrifies her. When he turned and ran trying to start a game of chase she would run after him. Unfortunately he kept turning, play bowing and barking which sent her running back to me.
We took Winnie on a bike ride today. She was dreamy - we rode up to get a seitan sandwich and she hung out in the back pack. Then we shopped at Valencia Cyclery for a while and she napped quietly in her bag. we rode on to Jane's house and Winnie peed on a puppy pad I put in Jane's bathroom.
Winnie got to see Bela the cat - he is a domestic long hair that is bigger than Winnie. She was a bit scared of him but curious. He hissed at her. I let her check things out but tried to prevent her from getting scared.
Good girl Winnie!
Winnie had her first "bone" tonight - I gave them both a chicken neck
