Hectic

Tuesdays are Mondays in my world and therefore generally hectic. I left Winnie home when I left for work and took Dolce because he was supposed to participate in a rescue dog photoshoot for work. The photographer didn't call me up until 10 after 3pm. I left for lunch (to pick up the poor pup that had been home since 8:30) about 15 minutes before he called. Oh well - Dolce wanted to go home and I wanted to relieve the pup. Winnie had peed 2x in her pen - 1 on the pad and 1 on a fleece. Bummer -but I hadn't expected her to "hold it" for that long.

At work she was great - I set her up in a pen and she hung out. She did fuss a bit but not too much. After work we had TIC meeting with some potential buyers so our first 60 minutes home involved stress and frantic cleaning. Puppy's first intro to "crisis" cleaning. She hung out in her pen. When people came over I got her out to say hello but only Sonya was interested in her. Frank did greet her but he had met her many times before. The theory as to why people don't gush over her is b/c she doesn't look like a puppy - she looks like an adult. Winnie hung out in her pen silently during the entire 60 minute meeting. Afterwards I took the dogs out to the bathroom and the we played. Winnie was over flowing with energy. We played tug and kill the deedle dude. She did her own version of a JRT race up and down the hallway - literally bouncing off of the walls. You have to see it to believe it!

The the dogs took a break and chewed on bones about 4' apart - Dolce was on the rug under the table and Winnie on the dog bed.

I took them out just before bed and she settled nicely in her crate. She got up with my alarm at 6am. I took her out - she pooped/peed and then I put her back into her crate for a half hour. She settled within about a minute.
