First day of daycare

Little Winnie slept until 7 am!!!!!!! She got up so I took her out to go to the bathroom. She peed and pooped. I was really tired so I got a chewie for her and put her back into her crate. She fussed for a few minutes but then settled down and we slept until 8:15. I "hid" her breakfast and lunch in the laundry room today (recommendation from Francis) and let her search it out. She wad a bit confused but then seemed to search out her food without problem. I gave her some salmon oil on lunch today!!

The dogs stayed home while I dropped Tim off at work and went to Rainbow. They were both quiet when I got home.

We hung out at home and played and visited the yard several times. Deirdre picked us up a little after noon and we took Winnie out to Shura's to play. We started her off with Winston a young blenhiem cavalier. She was a bit overwhelmed by him at first but within a few minutes she was comfortable. Shura then added in a few dogs one-by-on until we had Whimsy, Vida, Lilly, Chu-mon, Sydney, Roux, and Francesca down on the lower yard.

Whinnie played and ran around a lot - until she was hot and panting. I was very pleased with her - running around bouncing off of things/dogs and jumping over dogs etc.

Shura opened up both yards and eventually let all of the dogs out. Winnie was a bit "worried" when the rough and tumble dogs first came outside so we put her up on a chair. Within a few minutes though she was exploring and moving about. She was super tired after her 2 hours at daycare!


We stopped by at Peets to socialize the pup a bit ;-) and saw the LRV, buses, kids, runners, people of various ages and races plus 2 men in wheelchairs.

Kathy and Sue came over to see Winnie today so we all went outside to hangout and play.
