Mornings are an exciting time here .... this morning we got up at 5:10am (ugh) for a pee and a play session. (the play was not my idea!) The back into the crate for about an hour - some fussing involved. We got up and went out again this time she pooped. I put her in her pen (and listened to her fuss) until Dolce got up then we went out for a 3rd time. She harasses him a lot these days and he has been really (REALLY) patient with her. I do save him a lot but will also let him tell her when she is out of line.
There was only 1 teeny attempt to play this morning (from Dolce that is) at the very top of the stairs, in front of our back door he did his playbow/growl invitation. I think W is finally recognizing what he is offering and she slammed into him...he of course really growled/huffed at her and that was the end of it.
Although W was playing with her pink & purple stuffed spring toy (well for the $$) and having a ball. I managed to get Dolce to take one end (it is probably 18" when pulled straight) and they PLAYED TUG!!!!!!! She is MUCH stronger than Dolce though so it wasn't a great game. I don't have any pics though which is very sad. I didn't want to leave them b/c I wanted to make sure the game ended well and I wanted to make a big deal about how clever they both were for playing like that. OMG - that was SO cool!
Kim tried to let W hang with her dogs at her desk yesterday but W was irritating the big dogs too much. (jumping, licking, pawing....in your face puppy stuff)
OH! W peed outside in avanzino yesterday. I am probably very foolish for taking her out there but I am afraid that she will eat another puppy pad. = (
Winnie is growing like a weed. She met Jean yesterday who gushed over her for close to 10 minutes. W was initially very scared of Buffy but after a while she seemed to forget about her. Jean gave W lots of chicken treats and even did her famous "take treats from a person's mouth" thing. Jean said that W was sure to go oversize.
